Banjo

Name: Banjo
Primary Breed: Coonhound
Gender: Male
Entry Date: 11/11/22
Birth Date:
Adoption Fee: $200.00

Full Description:  I am the sweetest boy with a huge heart. I came in as a stray terrified of everything. I would crawl on the ground because I was too scared to stand upright. I have come out of my shell when I am in the back with my favorite people and other dogs. I will continue to flourish when I find my forever family and a place to call home. You should know a thing or two about my breed as us Hound dogs can be a handful. If you love my breed, you are sure to love me!    Please call the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter at 641-424-3617 for more information.

Adoption fee covers the following veterinarian services: spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, feline leukemia/FIV test in cats, heartworm test for dogs.

Animals listed with the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter will be held for 7 days from the “Entry Date” to give the opportunity for an owner to reclaim them.  If not reclaimed, the animal will be made available for adoption to the public.

Banjo has been lovingly sponsored in memory of Ingy.

A special volunteer wrote this poem for Banjo:
Black Gold, Texas Tea
Stand up tall my boy and you will see
Soon your “forever” will howl- FINALLY
“The energy…. it’s gotta be You and Me”
So they’ll load you up and move you home
You will run, bark, and never roam
“You” big-hearted guy will feel like a millionaire
With nothing but food, love, joy and trust in the air!!!
