Name: Cassie Adopted: 2013 Update from owner: Cassie (on the right)and ber buddy Sampson get along great and love going for walks. All one has to say is "park" or "walk" and Cassie is barking already.
We noticed that Cassie must not have had to go up or down steps before getting here as the first time I went downstairs she just stood up on top and looked down. I grabbed her and put her down in the middle of the steps and she still didn't know what to do. I finally was able to get her to go up the steps but it took a couple days to get her to go down the steps. Even today when she goes down or up she hugs along the wall and this is the only thing she does that she can't do faster than Sampson, she is one fast girl for a near 10 year old.
We really enjoy her, she is such a cuddler and once she does she just wants to stay and would do that all night if we let her. ...
Angels can show up in physical form, such as a stray animal who becomes a life-changing beloved pet, or a helpful stranger who suddenly appears and then disappears without a trace. Has this ever happened to you?
"Be careful when entertaining strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." One of my favorite quotes from the book of Hebrews -- in modern language it means, "When you meet a stranger, be courteous, as you might be meeting an angel."
With Easter coming up, we would like everyone to remember that this is a terrible time of year for bunnies and chicks.
We have two rabbits in The Denver Dog household that are now almost 10 years old. (Yes, they can live that long!)
Please choose chocolate for your child if you don't want to make the 10 year commitment.
Look who came to visit us over the weekend....XANDER!!!!!!!
This is the pit bull pup that was found extremely emaciated and cold in Jan of 2014. After A LOT of diagnosis, it was discovered he was suffering a medical condition that didn't allow food the be swallowed and digested properly. He underwent surgery to correct this condition, was adopted soon after and now lives a normal happy and healthy life with his family!
