Chocolate and Romance

The Humane Society of North Iowa invites you come and join us for a fun filled afternoon of fashions, wine and chocolate! Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Humane Society.

Pizza Sales

Humane Society volunteers are selling Godfather's certificates for $14.00 that are good for a medium specialty pizza or large two topping pizza redeemable at Godfather's in Mason City, Fort Dodge, Urbandale, West Des Moines and two locations in Des Moines.

These certificates have NO expiration date.

Pizzas may be ordered half-baked and taken home and frozen. Anyone interested in a half-baked pizza, needs to ask for a half-baked pizza when ordering.

Giving Your Best

The Humane Society of North Iowa invites the citizens of North Iowa to share in the Giving Your Best Family Fair at Southbridge Mall.

Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month

The Humane Society of North Iowa joins The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in declaring June Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat month. Corporate sponsor Fresh Step Scoopable cat litter and national cyber-shelter Petfinder.com support the month-long celebration.

The Humane Society of North Iowa invites the citizens of North Iowa to partake in some relaxation therapy by stopping by the shelter at 2700 South Birch Drive, Mason City to meet our available feline therapists and celebrating Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat month with us.

Bark in the Park

June 13th 11:00am at Lime Creek Nature Center
---> There will be a walk for people and dogs. The Humane Society will also provide food, fun and prizes. Watch for more information.

Candy Bar Sales

Candy bars sold by volunteers to raise funds for the Humane Society.

Annual Fall Festival/Silent Auction

at National Guard Armory
Businesses donate items for the silent auction as well an opportunity to become more familiar with the Pet Adoption Center.

Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month

The Humane Society of North Iowa and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) declare October to be Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month. Each year millions of people find a devoted housemate at their local shelter. The ASPCA encourages Americans to "Make Adoption Your First Option". This October, "Make your house a home…adopt a shelter dog!"
