Kota is a stunning 4-year-old Border Collie with soulful eyes, a big heart, and a love for adventure. Full of energy and enthusiasm, she\u2019s happiest when she\u2019s chasing a ball, catching a frisbee, or joining in on any game you can dream up. Fetch is her specialty, and she\u2019ll gladly keep the fun going as long as you will.<\/p>\n

Smart and athletic, Kota embodies everything people love about Border Collies. She enjoys staying active and would thrive with agility, training exercises, hiking, or other activities that challenge both her body and mind. She\u2019s highly intelligent, eager to learn, and already has a great understanding of basic commands.<\/p>\n

Beyond her playful side, Kota is incredibly affectionate and forms strong bonds with her people. She truly just wants to be near you, whether that\u2019s heading out on an adventure or relaxing together at home. She loves belly rubs, walks nicely on a leash\u2014especially with a harness\u2014and rides well in the car. Kota is also potty trained and is generally a very quiet dog with minimal barking.<\/p>\n

Did we mention she loves fetch? Because she absolutely does! A tennis ball or frisbee is the quickest way to her heart.<\/p>\n

Kota does have strong herding instincts, so she would do best in an active home without small children. She\u2019s looking for a loving family who will give her plenty of exercise, companionship, and opportunities to keep her sharp mind engaged.<\/p>\n

Kota needs to be the only pet in home.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adoption fee covers the following veterinarian\u00a0services: spay\/neuter surgery, age appropriate\u00a0vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, feline leukemia\/FIV test in cats, heartworm test for dogs.<\/p>\n

Animals listed with the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter will be held for 7 days from the \u201cEntry Date\u201d to give the opportunity for an owner to reclaim them.\u00a0 If not reclaimed, the animal will be made available for adoption to the public.<\/p>\n
