Cedar is a young Lab mix with a gentle heart and a quiet spirit. He was found as a stray alongside his friend Clover, who has already found her forever home\u2014now it\u2019s Cedar\u2019s turn to find a family of his own.<\/p>\n

Cedar is a very good boy, but he\u2019s extremely shy and still learning that the world isn\u2019t such a scary place. New experiences can feel overwhelming for him, even simple things like doorways, so he\u2019ll need a patient and understanding adopter who can help him build confidence at his own pace.<\/p>\n

With time, kindness, and reassurance, Cedar has so much potential to blossom. He\u2019s the kind of dog who may take a little while to come out of his shell, but once he does, the bond you\u2019ll build will be incredibly special. Adoption fee covers the following veterinarian\u00a0services: spay\/neuter surgery, age appropriate\u00a0vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, feline leukemia\/FIV test in cats, heartworm test for dogs.<\/p>\n

Animals listed with the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter will be held for 7 days from the \u201cEntry Date\u201d to give the opportunity for an owner to reclaim them.\u00a0 If not reclaimed, the animal will be made available for adoption to the public.<\/strong><\/p>\n
