The first time, his owner fell on hard times and was no longer able to care for him. He was adopted and spent the last two years in what we hoped would be his forever home. Sadly, Mio has been returned once again.

When Mio came back to us, we were heartbroken to see our handsome boy had gone from a healthy 16.5 pounds to just 6 pounds. We don’t know what happened, but our focus now is helping him regain his health, confidence, and happiness.

Mio is 4 years old and is looking for a home where he can be your one and only. With patience, understanding, and lots of love, we’re confident his sweet personality will blossom again.

One thing that makes Mio extra special? He has adorable thumbs (polydactyl paws)! Those extra toes make him as unique as he is handsome.

Mio is searching for a truly committed forever family—someone who will give him the patience, stability, and unconditional love he deserves.
