Jack recently hit his one year at the shelter. This handsome blue heeler is looking for a quiet home to call his own. Jack can be a little unsure about touch when you first meet him. Jack will need a home that will go slow and help him learn to trust again. Jack does need to be an only dog. Big shout out to boy scout troop 1016! They visited our shelter today where they walked dogs and socialized cats. Thank you so much for volunteering, our animals loved it! We hope to see this group back in the future!

What a sweet treat! DogCuterie Box is a new business in Clear Lake that creates special "charcuterie" boxes for doggos. They recently posted a "sponsor-a-box" offer on their page that allowed people to purchase a box at discount to be donated to their local animal shelter of choice.Today, owner Jade Miller and her son Hunter dropped off 9 boxes for our shelter dogs! YUM!!! THANK YOU to everyone that purchased a dogcuterie box for our dogs....they are LOVING all the goodies!!
