Kovu is a handsome older Husky with a gentle soul and so much love to give. He came to us as a stray and, although he was microchipped, his previous owner chose not to take him back\u2014something that truly breaks our hearts, because Kovu is such a good, deserving boy.<\/p>\n

He has a sweet and loving nature and enjoys being around people, often \u201ctalking\u201d in that classic Husky way to share his thoughts. Kovu can be a bit head shy, so he appreciates a calm, patient approach and someone who will respect his space while he builds trust.<\/p>\n

Because of this sensitivity, Kovu would do best in a home without young children. With the right person, he will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. Adoption fee covers the following veterinarian\u00a0services: spay\/neuter surgery, age appropriate\u00a0vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, feline leukemia\/FIV test in cats, heartworm test for dogs.<\/p>\n

Animals listed with the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter will be held for 7 days from the \u201cEntry Date\u201d to give the opportunity for an owner to reclaim them.\u00a0 If not reclaimed, the animal will be made available for adoption to the public.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
