Meet Jeanette, a stunning 1\u00bd-year-old German Shepherd mix with beauty, brains, and a heart that\u2019s still learning the world can be a safe place. She\u2019s incredibly intelligent, eager to please, and already showing what an amazing companion she can become for the right person.<\/p>\n

Jeanette can be shy and unsure at first, but once she starts to trust you, her sweet and loyal personality shines through. She loves being outdoors and would make a wonderful walking partner, hiking buddy, or adventure companion for someone who enjoys exploring by her side.<\/p>\n

Sadly, Jeanette was returned after only a couple of days in a home because she was a little too interested in the cats and showed some territorial behavior with another dog. Because of this, she may do best as the only pet in the home where she can feel secure and continue building confidence at her own pace.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s learning that not everything is scary or bad, and with patience, structure, and love, Jeanette has all the potential to become someone\u2019s devoted best friend.<\/p>\n
