TAILS OF SUCCESS: Here's an update from Juniper (formerly Siren)...Juniper has been absolutely thriving!! It didn’t take me long at all to figure out her name. She was immediately juniper from the start. She really is the perfect cat! She loves her cat tower and her scratching posts. Her favorite toy is her lobster! She loves getting treats and she’s always up for a nap! She’s a very energetic cat and loves to play! She loves cuddling, being right next to you, and sleeping under the covers. She doesn’t meow very often unless you’re in the next room and she can’t get to you. She loves making biscuits on my face. She gets along with every person she meets if they are willing to play with her for as long as possible. She’s such an affectionate little kitty. I will be forever grateful for her. ❤️

WE NEED NEWSPAPERS! We line all our cat kennels with newspapers and we are VERY LOW on supply! Do you have a stack of newspapers you are looking to get rid of? We would LOVE to have them!Please drop off newspapers at the shelter (Open Tues-Fri (10-4) and and Sat (10-2)). If we are not open, please leave them at the door and staff will bring them inside.

TAILS OF SUCCESS: Here's an update from Korra (formerly Praline)....It has been a little over 3 weeks since we picked up Praline. It took forever for us all to agree on a name but we finally decided on Korra.
Korra immediately adapted to our home and lifestyle. She became immediate friends with our dog, Leia. Our toddler loves Korra. Korra is a fireball and loves to run around, chase, and wrestle Leia. She also loves to snuggle, so we get the best of both worlds. Korra loves to follow us around the house. We got Korra this huge cat tree, and the first few weeks she loved it, but it’s in our sun room, and she prefers to stay by people in the living room. She is a quiet kitty, but she can be loud if she wants to be. If her food bowl is empty, she lets us know by sitting there and meowing until we do something about it. You know when Korra wants to snuggle because she starts vibrating like a motorboat.
We can’t wait to watch Korra grow! Thank you to the Humane Society for the easy adoption process and helping us connect with the perfect addition to our family ❤️
