We had the best surprise visitor today....WINNIE!!! 🥰🥰If you recall, Winnie came to us from another shelter very shy and timid. She spent three and a half years in our care waiting for someone special to invest the time that she needed to get to know them. Finally, this nice young man, Peyton, came to visit her twice a week for 6 weeks. In the end, they were best friends and Winnie had found her person!
Today, Peyton visited the shelter with Winnie and a very generous monetary Christmas gift for all the other shelter animals waiting for their miracle to happen. ❤️❤️
Winnie has been with Peyton for two and a half months now and she is just living the best life with him. She loves to play, cuddle, and is never very far from her dad.
We are so grateful to Peyton for giving Winnie the life she always deserved.

The Werner family stopped by the shelter today and donated 20 BAGS of dog chow for the shelter animals!!! Wow!!! 880 pounds of food!! That is a lot and will last us a long time! THANK YOU!!! 🥰🥰🥰The Werner family includes (L to R): Landon, Bryce, Tina and Chuck)
Disco is all bundled and snuggled up on this cold Iowa day. 🥶🥶🥶Wouldn't you love to have a snuggle buddy like Disco? He's looking for a forever home that will keep him warm, safe and cozy!

This nice lady, Donna Korn, made a "diamond painting" for the shelter and presented it to us yesterday. Nice!!! We love it! These "paintings" are made by placing teeny-tiny gemstones on a patterned template...and its hours and hours of work!Thank you Donna!!!
