TAILS OF SUCCESS: Here's an update from Crue (formerly Hazelnut)...We recently adopted Crüe, formerly known as Hazelnut about a month and half ago. He has been a great addition to our family! He goes absolutely crazy for his wet food and feathered toys! He's been getting along with his new brother Ozzy great! They are either chasing eachother around, cleaning eachother, or watching the birds outside of the window. He's become my little snuggle bug and Ozzy's best friend!
This week, we honor the shelter workers, volunteers, and foster families who show up day after day — sometimes in difficult conditions, often without fanfare — to care for animals who need them most.You feed them. You comfort them. You tend to their wounds and their fears. You give them names, warm beds, and the chance to trust again. Because of your hands and your hearts, countless cats and dogs find safety, healing, and ultimately, a family to call home.Thank you.
TAILS OF SUCCESS: Here's an update from Biscotti....Biscotti loves to play with balls. He loves hiding all his balls under furniture. After putting all his balls under the furniture, the next game is to try to get them out(which only works 25% of the time). I almost want to put pool noodles under all the furniture however it would make him sad. We have probably 15 Kong squeaking balls now, most are under furniture. He loves to play soccer with multiple balls at once.He has no fear, trying to get him to take take it easy. He would rather take a flying squirrel jump off the stairs with his legs front and back spread sideways, or take a superman pose as he jumps off the stairs. He is full of love. Ordered some steps for the coach, so hopefully he doesn't keep doing flying jumps. Again he has no fear. He loves to run outside, runs and runs until he collapses in the grass. We are used to shoveling walking paths in the yard when it snows. He loves running outside, assume our paths will have to take up the whole backyard to make him happy during the winter months. He takes a 5 second break and runs and runs some more. His legs are getting really strong. Thanks for letting us get Biscotti. Thanks for all your helpRyan, Sherry, Tyler, Ashley and Annie
TAILS OF SUCCESS: Here's an update from Benji (formerly Whopper)....We had a wonderful first year with Benji! We also celebrated his 3rd birthday with a T-bone steak seared in coconut oil. He is definitely acting like a teenager with his attitude but that makes us love him even more. He loves green peppers, carrots and tomatoes. He loved going trick or treating and meeting all the people. He truly is the best boy. We can’t thank you enough for taking a chance on us with him. He has brought so joy, love and entertainment into our lives. 1 year down and many more to go!Petfinder.com
