Have you called in a stray cat to Animal Control in recent months? Have you picked up your kennel or live trap yet? A large number of unclaimed kennels and live traps had built up at the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter and had to be removed. They are now currently available for pickup at the Mason City Police Department from now until Tuesday, March 18th. The police department is located at 78 South Georgia Ave and is open 24 hrs.As a reminder, if you call in a stray cat that has been confined in a kennel or live trap, you have 7 days to come pick it up at the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter (co-located and managed by the Humane Society of North Iowa and located at 2750 South Birch Drive in Mason City).
