Full Description: Hi, I’m Grits! I’m a rambunctious little fluffball that loves to run around and play. I came to the shelter with my brother Shrimp. We came when a nice man found us out in the open without a mama. He did the right thing and waited a couple days, waiting for her to come back and get us, but she never did. So, now we are here at the shelter. We are patiently waiting for a home where we can get all the snuggles and play to our hearts content! We would love to go to a home together!

Adoption fee covers the following veterinarian services: spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, feline leukemia/FIV test in cats, heartworm test for dogs.

Animals listed with the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter will be held for 7 days from the “Entry Date” to give the opportunity for an owner to reclaim them.  If not reclaimed, the animal will be made available for adoption to the public.
