Full Description: A nice officer brought me to the shelter after he saw me walking around a neighborhood while he was on patrol. I approached some kids for pets and they didn’t know who I belonged to. Sadly, I came to the shelter in pretty rough shape — I had a terrible flea infestation and had scratched myself raw in a lot of places. I am now feeling (and looking) much better. I know most people will overlook me because of my age, but I had heard there are real angels out there who will offer me a loving home to live out the rest of my years. Adoption fee covers the following veterinarian services: spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, feline leukemia/FIV test in cats, heartworm test for dogs.

Animals listed with the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter will be held for 7 days from the “Entry Date” to give the opportunity for an owner to reclaim them.  If not reclaimed, the animal will be made available for adoption to the public.
