Meet Jimmy Dean — an X-LARGE hound mix puppy with a big body, goofy energy, and an even bigger heart! Ain’t nothing but a hound dog, this playful pup is full of pep all the time and always ready for his next adventure.

Jimmy Dean has been with us at the shelter for a little over a month now and is slowly but surely coming out of his shell. Like any puppy, he’ll need manners, guidance, and a patient home willing to teach him the ropes. One thing he definitely hasn’t figured out yet? Just how big he is!

Whether it’s playtime, walks, or snuggle time, Jimmy Dean is all in. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything you do and will happily keep you entertained along the way. If you’re looking for a lovable, energetic companion with tons of personality and potential, Jimmy Dean is ready to meet you!

Adoption fee covers the following veterinarian services: spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, feline leukemia/FIV test in cats, heartworm test for dogs.

Animals listed with the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter will be held for 7 days from the “Entry Date” to give the opportunity for an owner to reclaim them.  If not reclaimed, the animal will be made available for adoption to the public.
