TAILS OF SUCCESS: Here's an update from Daisy, Jade, and Zoey...Here’s an update on our 3 dogs that we have adopted at the humane society (daisy) formerly ambrosia has now been with us 7 months (jade) formerly Ellie who has been with us 6 months and our newest little one (Zoey) formerly chickpea who has been with us for close to 2 weeks! They are all getting along so well together and are enjoying there best life.
HUGE NEWS: Remember last December, we put out a plea for donations to help a dog named Angus? He had a large tumor on his head and required surgery to have it removed. Due to it's size and location, the surgery was going to be spendy....but you all came through and we raised the funds needed (just over $1300!) and proceeded with surgery.Angus spent some time in foster care (thanks Charlotte!) and then came back to the shelter so he could be adopted. A familiar family came to visit him and recently....ANGUS WENT HOME!!!!
But here's the best part....remember Winnie? She was the pretty girl who had been our care for several years, that a young man came to visit weekly over the course of several months and formed a bond with her and adopted her. When Winnie was in the shelter, the only other dog she really liked was Angus. Well guess what? The parents of the young man who adopted Winnie are the ones who adopted ANGUS!!! 😍😍😍😍 They live right by one another and are able to see each other all the time. Angus and Winnie will be BEST FRIENDS FOR LIFE!!! <3 <3 <3
Our hearts are so full and happy for the way this story unfolded and ended so happily! THANK YOU to everyone that helped Angus get the care he needed, and THANK YOU to the wonderful family that opened their hearts and homes to these two special dogs in need. <3 <3
