Arthur

Name: Arthur
Primary Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Gender: Male
Entry Date: 02/18/21
Birth Date: *2017
Declawed: 4-paw
Adoption Fee: $105.00

Full Description: My name is Arthur, and I’m a unique boy, not just in appearance but in personality, too. A kind person found me in town and brought me to the shelter, thinking an owner must be out there looking for a special boy like me. I was already neutered and declawed, so surely I belonged to someone. Unfortunately no one came forward to reclaim me. I’ve seen the vet and they think my ears look the way they do because of untreated infections in my past, but I’m being well-taken care of now. I am playful and enjoy playing with wand toys as well as sunning myself in the window in my cat tree. I am fairly independent and need a family that will respect me when I want time to myself. This doesn’t mean I am not a nice kitty- I am very sweet and affectionate on my terms. I would prefer to be the king of my castle and would enjoy being the only pet in your home, and would do best with a family that does not have small children- older kids or teens and up please! Please call the Humane Society of  North Iowa at 641-423-6241 for more information.

Adoption fee covers the following veterinarian services: spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, feline leukemia/FIV test in cats, heartworm test for dogs.

Full Description: My name is Carrie and I came to the shelter after my owner became very sick and could no longer care for me. Like a lot of kitties, I can be a little shy at first, but I’m pretty loving once I get to know you. Although I was an only kitty for a few years, I did previously live with another cat and a small dog. I’m also used to visiting children and while I may hide at first, I enjoy getting attention from kids. I love toy mice and enjoy watching squirrels outside. My previous family said I can get up to mischief sometimes, and like to carry small items (like keys) around the house 🙂 Please call the Humane Society of  North Iowa at 641-423-6241 for more information.
