Don’t let my adorable face fool you—I’m every bit as sweet as I look! My name is Mossy, and I’m a male Blue Heeler who’s just turning 1 year old. I’m ready to find an active, loving forever family that understands my breed and is excited to help me become the best dog I can be.

I’m an affectionate guy who can’t resist climbing into a friendly lap for cuddles and giving out plenty of hugs. I love being close to my people and will happily shower you with love.

Since I’m still a young pup, I’ll need continued training, guidance, and consistency to help me grow into a well-mannered companion. As a Blue Heeler, I’m intelligent, energetic, and thrive when I have a job to do. Daily exercise, mental enrichment, and plenty of adventures will keep me happy and healthy.

Adoption fee covers the following veterinarian services: spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, feline leukemia/FIV test in cats, heartworm test for dogs.

Animals listed with the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter will be held for 7 days from the “Entry Date” to give the opportunity for an owner to reclaim them.  If not reclaimed, the animal will be made available for adoption to the public.
